Emily Isbell, CEO, Co-Leader
At only 20 years of age, Emily Isbell (is-bell) was promoted quickly from a part time role into the Human Resource Department at Home Instead Senior Care in Bowling Green, Kentucky. After assisting the company towards double digit annual growth she became the second in command of the same multi-million dollar organization at only 23 years old. In 2012, at the age of 26 she was promoted to the Executive Director of a newly acquired Franklin, TN location. At the time she assumed full responsibility over operations, allowing the franchise owner to be primarily absent from the day to day leadership. After a successful four years and quadrupling the Franklin, TN business she ventured into a new role of leadership.
In 2016 she became the Vice President of Operations for the Nashville, TN business and, simultaneously continued leadership of the Franklin, TN location. The key to Emily’s success was building teams with incredible integrity and a drive to always serve the company’s mission. During that time, she was able to continue growing the Franklin business by double digit growth and also tripled the size of the Nashville business.
In 2020 Emily took a step back from the grind and realized not every young female leader has been able to shatter the glass ceiling by the age of 30. Driven by the mission to shatter the glass ceiling, overcome the boys’ club culture, and the fight for equal pay —Emily developed the Co-Leadership program for female entrepreneurs. The Co-Leadership program works at the convergence of executive coaching, business consulting, and leadership development specifically for female franchise owners. Today she is helping women franchisees and franchisors achieve more income, learn to scale within their franchise standards, and experience double digit growth in their small businesses.
